Be Grateful..

Updated: Nov 27, 2021

Be thankful for what you have because someone would risk it all for what you take for granted everyday.

Think about that for second.

I love holidays like Thanksgiving because they give us a chance to stop all the hustle and bustle of our grind culture and appreciate what we have rather.

I heard this quote from Earl Nightingale that made me think.

Things that you receive for free or actually invaluable and the things that cost money are the things that don't have too much value.

Think about that. The things that we got for free cost way more than the things that we can buy. This includes family, our health, our friends, and more. If any one of those things were taken from us, there's no amount of money that could bring just buy another. No, you can't just buy another dad. No you can't just buy another lung. And no, you can't buy love.

We're always charging to the next thing we don't take the chance to appreciate what we truly have. And yes, I'm preaching to myself too.

In order for us to learn how to appreciate what we have we have to pause and reflect on what those things mean to us and why they are important to us. I love that I got to pause and talk to family members today. Despite any problems that I or anyone would be facing, we have each other.

I believe that gratitude is the key to happiness. And I'm thankful that I get to celebrate this so I can carry this attitude of gratitude into the next day.

Thank you for anyone who is reading this. I love getting my thoughts out there and clarifying the things that are in my head. If any of this resonates with you and you take the chance to read it, I thank you for doing that.

Things I'm thankful for:

  1. My loving family

  2. My amazing friends

  3. My books 📚📚📚

  4. My life and crazy story (you guys don't even know lol)

  5. Music (Omg I love music so much)

If you feel so led, please share what you are thankful for. Also oh, you can continue to show your appreciation for this by sharing it with someone who you think might enjoy it as well.

Happy Thanksgiving peoplessss.

Oh I went to the Huntsville National Park today. I love that Nature is so nearby
